Keeping the Homework Organized

I remember when I was in elementary school, it was always hard to keep track of the homework that I had to accomplish. I had one flimsy folder that I would have to make sure that all of my homework stayed in or it would be thrown into my backpack somewhere. When I got to middle school, I was so excited to have a planner. A little book all to myself that I could write it and not lose track of my homework.

I always think that it is important to stay organized during the school year. If you have no idea what is going on in each of your classes, then success probably will not happen. To keep your homework in check, I have created this chart just for you and it is absolutely FREE! Download it weekly to make sure that you are keeping track of your homework and not getting behind!

If you want custom colors or if you want to add a name to this chart, check out my etsy shop and I can do a custom order for you!

First Day of School

I cannot believe that summer has flown by so fast. And even more, I cannot believe that there are some people that are about to start school next week. I still remember those elementary school days where I would worry about who was going to be in my class, who was I going to sit by, who was I going to play with at recess, would I be able to find my class and the list would go on and on. It was always such a nerve racking time, but also a time of excitement.

I just recently graduated from college which means no more first days of school for me. I now have the opportunity to see my kids get ready for their first day of school. Next year my son will be starting pre-school and I saw this really cute idea on Pinterest. You have a sign that "First Day of School" and one that says "Last Day of School". You take a picture with your child on their first day of school and and then with the second sign on their last day of school. It is a cute way to preserve those childhood memories.

I have created a "First Day of School" printable for you that will come in a 5x7 print. On my etsy shop I have an 8x10 and 16x20 sign available, but free on my blog you can print it off in a 5x7. I wish luck to all of those who about to start on their adventure of a new school year.

Don't forget to check back in May for a "Last Day of School" free printable to match the "First Day of School" printable.

Home is Wherever I'm With You

It has been almost a year since my little family and I moved to Arizona. This was the biggest move my husband and I have made since we were married. We moved from the north, snowy Idaho, to the south, hot Arizona. We were very excited, but also very nervous. We did not know how long we were going to be in Arizona and we wanted to make sure that this move was right for our family. We then came to the realization that as long as we had each other and our little family all together, that we would be alright. We are always there to support each other in our different life endeavors. When we are together as a family, life is an adventure, and we are so excited to see where the future takes us. As long as we are together, we can conquer all.

Here is a gift just for you! I free 5x7 printable. Just a little reminder that home is wherever your loved ones are.

I Am A Child of God

Since I was a child, I was always taught that I was a child of God. I was taught that He loved me and wanted the best for me in life. Now that I am an adult, I do not believe that has changed. I believe that my Father in Heaven has unconditional love for me. He has given me so many blessings in life and is always watching out for me to make sure that my family and friends are safe. Even in times of hardship, He is there to give me comfort to know that I am not alone.

My husband and I find it very important for our children to know that they are also children of God. That they know that their Father in Heaven loves them no matter what. So we make sure next to each of our children's bed is a picture that states "I am a Child of God". Here is one for you to share with your family and friends.

Welcome!!

I just wanted to take a minute and welcome everyone to my blog. I have made a couple of posts so far and realized that I have not taken the time to introduce myself.

My name is Chelsea. I married my best friend, Alex, and we are coming up on our 4 year anniversary. We have an amazing little boy named Eli and are about to have our second child, a little girl, in a couple of weeks. We are so excited to add a little princess to our family. I love my family and especially love spending time with them. We try to have as many adventures as we possibly can.

I started my printables Etsy shop because I was spending so much time making them for my baby's room, I decided I would share them with everyone else. I have loved crafting since I was young. Being able to have a creative outlet has always been a stress reliever for me. I always have some kind of project going on and am usually making my house a mess in the process.

That is just a little bit into my life. I hope that as I continue this blog you will be able to learn a bit more about me. I also hope that you enjoy the weekly free printables. Don't forget to check out my Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/CraftMei?ref=hdr&view_type=gallery for new printables added daily. I am excited to be able to share a little bit of love from my home to yours.

xoxo- Chelsea

Sparkle and Shine

I have always found individuality to be very important. I had a friend that would always remind me to sparkle and shine. So that is my message to all of you today. Do not be afraid to sparkle and shine and let the world see your fabulous personality! Please enjoy this FREE printable.

Bored?

School is out and summer has begun! I remember when I was a kid I was so excited to get out and play. I was so excited to not have any homework and to not have to sit at a desk all day listening to lectures. It was heaven. Summer would start and I would play with the neighbors every day for about the first week, and then summer became very boring. There is only so much you can do. I remember telling my mom that I was bored and that we needed to do something NOW!

I was at my friend's house the other day and saw that she had this written and hung up on her wall for her kids to read. Whenever they tell her she is bored, she redirects them to this sign. GENIUS!

Since I loved it so much I made it into a colorful printable. I am also making it FREE so we can all make sure that we no longer bored this summer! Enjoy!
